Art, "Letting Richard's Spirit Go," by Mary Southard, CSJ. This vibrant image so full of God's promise, was done by the artist to commemorate the passing of her mentor and teacher, Sr. Richard Mehren, CSJ. (1913-1990) It depicts Sr. Richard as an angel being sent forth into the heavens by her CSJ Sisters down below. Look closely and you will see that the Sisters have released balloons in celebration, to accompany Sr. Richard on her return to God.
