Frequently Asked Questions

Ministry of the Arts (MOTA) is a ministry sponsored by the Congregation of Saint Joseph in La Grange, IL. We came into being a few years after our annual Calendar was first advertised on a one-page flyer in 1986. By 1994, there were cards, music, and sculptures published in a “catalog” format and we began to experience a growing ministry. In 2021, we transition our business model and artwork to digital offerings. Our Vision has been to bring hope and healing to the world through the Arts.

In order to make our artwork more widely accessible to people everywhere, we have decided to discontinue offering physical products and offer our artwork digitally.

At this time only our artwork and music will be available digitally. However, we hope to expand to more digital products and options for you in the future!

All of our music is now available for digital download. Plus, a copy of the lyrics are also available with your music download. Just ask us to include the lyrics when you fill out the request form.

Browse the website and if you see a piece of art or hear a song you’d like please fill out the request form next to the piece of art. Or, you can email us at [email protected] and someone will contact you regarding the specific piece of art or music and will walk you through the licensing process.

We are asking all who use our art to sign a Copyright License Agreement. This is to protect our artists and their work and make sure that the use of their work follows in accordance with our mission and values.

Yes. We are requiring all who request our art to sign an agreement.

Once you have selected your artwork and signed the Copyright License Agreement, your artwork will be sent to you in a jpg, png or pdf high resolution 600dpi digital download file. If you have any questions about sizing please include it in the request form.

We are no longer offering printing services for artwork. Any pieces of art you’d like to have printed will be your responsibility. Walgreens, CVS, and Costco are popular places where you can get images printed. We are also working on establishing relationships with local printing companies. Keep checking back for updates.
